2lb.pork shoulder/butt picnic pork roast
salt and pepper
1c.sugar-free barbecue sauce
1 6 oz.can tomato paste
1tsp.ground cumin
1tsp.onion powder
1tsp.garlic powder
½tbsp.seasoned salt
½c.apple cider vinegar
1tbsp.liquid smokeoptional
½c.sweet oniondiced

Instructions
Rub meat with salt and pepper; set aside.
In medium bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, tomato paste, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, seasoned salt, vinegar and liquid smoke until smooth. Add chopped onion.
Place meat into slow cooker, then pour in sauce and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours, until meat falls apart.
