Cheese lovers, this one’s for you!
Everyone knows that the best way to eat your vegetables is to smother them in cheese. That’s exactly what I did in this creamy beef and broccoli casserole. The ground beef and broccoli are covered in three different types of cheese.
The result is a family-friendly recipe that comes together in mere minutes. It will soon become your go-to family dinner recipe.
Beef and Broccoli Casserole Tips
You don’t have to use ground beef. This casserole will taste just as good if you use ground turkey, ground chicken, or ground pork.

Since the broccoli and beef bake together in the oven, this is an entire meal in one dish. If you really (and I mean, really) love cheese, then serve this creamy casserole with a side of cheesy cauliflower.
This beef and broccoli casserole also tastes delicious the next day as a lunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.

- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 8oz. package cream cheese

STEP 1: Brown the ground beef together with onions & garlic, crumbling the meat with a spoon or spatula until the meat is fully cooked. Spoon out excess fat, if necessary, or soak up with a paper towel. Set meat aside.
STEP 2: While meat is browning, bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add broccoli & cook for 3-4 minutes; drain well.
STEP 3: Return saucepan to stove and reduce heat to low. Whisk together heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese and constantly stir until cheese is melted. Add salt & pepper.
STEP 4: Mix together meat mixture, broccoli, and cheese, then add to greased 9×13 casserole dish; top with mozzarella cheese.

Absolutely delicious. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
The only thing I did differently was add some low carb noodles; and a tbsp of minced garlic to the sauce.
It was a hit in my house!
Delicious. I didn’t have any cream, so I used a can of cream of mushroom soup, and added panko bread crumbs on top. Will definitely make again.
